Glassprimer™ GPWB128 Water Based Glass Paint

Is a specialty two part water based acrylic modified catalyzed resin coating. GPWB128 is formulated for permanent glass adhesion to create long lasting interior architectural and decorative back painted/colored glass.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Finish: Semi-Gloss finish (high gloss once back painted on glass)

Colors: 1000’s of colors available

Mix Ratio: 4:1  paint/catalyst

Coverage: Approximately 265 sq ft of 2-4 coats per gallon

*If re-coating is necessary after 24 hours, obscure painted surface before re-coating.

*Heat lamps or heat oven can be used according to the drying schedule above to speed up curing time.

Induction Time: Once paint/catalyst are mixed, let stand for 15 minutes before use

Shelf Life: Part A: 3 years/Part B: 1 year

Storage: indoors at 40°F (4.5°C) to 100°F (38°C)

Flash Point: 201°F (93°C)

Reducer: Distilled water no more than 15%

GLASS SURFACE PREP/CLEANING
Glass surface must be clean and dry. Remove all oil, dust, grease, dirt, etc with isopropyl rubbing alcohol and #000 steel w00l. Repeat cleaning with isopropyl rubbing alcohol and clean paper towels (use force and scrub the glass down with the alcohol until the glass surface has a strong squeaky feel and sound). When cleaning large glass pieces, spray glass surface with a de-greaser cleaner and scrub with  #000 steel wool. Clean off with water. After de-greaser/steel wool cleaning, follow up with cleaning the glass with isopropyl rubbing alcohol and clean paper towels. Repeat cleaning 2-3 times to ensure glass is clean.
